Around the race circuit where the Grandstands were. There was motorhomes making camp not sure if the motorhomes had electricity or paying for pitching fees. Other motorhomes had made camp in parking laybys. In the village square and patches of grass near the convenience shop people were pitching tents
The Headfort Arms Hotel
This hotel is found in Kells only 10 mins drive away from the race circuit Crossakiel
The hotel was first built in the mid-18th century and has undertaken several extensions and refurbishments, the hotel has won some very prestigious awards for their Vanilla Pod Restaurant and the hospitality from all the staff. There is spa facilities as well as off-street parking.
In 2010, the Headfort Arms won the coveted National Gold Medal Award for Best 3 Star Hotel in Ireland.

The B&B is found in Carlanstown which is 5 mins from Kells towards Ardee. You shouldn’t have any trouble finding the B&B as it’s just set back of the main Rd. The owners have a large drive which may be handy for taking your bike of the street.
Here would make an excellent base from which to explore Kells, Crossakiel and all of Co. Meath.
